- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. INTRODUCTION A. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. B. The combined synopsis and: Request for Quotation (RFQ). C.This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-76. D. Small Business Set-Aside: N/A E. Posting Date: 24 SEP 2014 F.Response Date: 26 SEP 2014 G.Contracting Office: Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) 6501 E. Eleven Mile, Warren, MI 48397. H.The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 5616213. Offeror must be certified under this NAICS code prior to receiving an award. I.This Combined Synopsis Solicitation contains clauses and provisions requiring a fill-in or representation. Offeror shall submit a copy of this Combined Synopsis Solicitation with their bid and respond to these clauses and provisions accordingly. A failure to complete these fill-ins may cause your offer to be determined ineligible for award. J.Basis for award - The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals before the closing date of this solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government intends to negotiate and award to Security Corporation of Novi, MI. (Cage # 3CAP9). Authorized partners are invited to respond. II.GENERAL A.The United States Army Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM) in Warren, Michigan has a requirement for the following: Access Control Security System Maintenance; PoP 30 Sep 14 - 29 Sep 15. The purchase will allow for protection of voice and data assets for 43 ADT access control security systems and software located throughout the Detroit Arsenal community. Access Control Security System Maintenance; PoP 30 Sep 15 - 29 Sep 16 Access Control Security System Maintenance; PoP 30 Sep 16 - 29 Sep 17 Access Control Security System Maintenance; PoP 30 Sep 17 - 29 Sep 18 Access Control Security System Maintenance; PoP 30 Sep 18 - 29 Sep 19 Technical Requirements. Access Security Equipment includes: Quantity Description 43 Access Controls, PXN-2000 54 Request to Exit Motions 55 Power Supplies 64 Card Readers, 940 64 Door Strikes, Electric 43 Door Contacts 1 Upgrade Facility Commander from 64 to 128 Readers 1 GE Software Support Agreement Offeror shall include all shipping charges and deliver supplies F.O.B. DESTINATION to the following address: Network Enterprise Center (NEC) Detroit Arsenal MS444 6501 E.
