Description

Redacted J&A in Support of the Privatization of the Electrical Distribution System at Henderson Hall, VA The Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy) awarded modification P00072 to utility services contract number SP0600-06-C-8251 on September 15, 2014. The modification incorporates the electrical distribution system at Henderson Hall, VA, and all associated service requirements, into the existing contract with Virginia Electric and Power Company d/b/a Dominion Virginia Power (DVP), at Forts Myer and McNair, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2688(b)(2) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Ownership of the Henderson Hall electrical distribution system will be conveyed to DVP through a Bill of Sale. Upon conveyance, DVP will assume responsibility for the operation, maintenence, repair, replacement, and upgrade of the system for the remaining period of performance of the contract (estimated to be 42 years and 8 months).
