Description

This "Source of Sought" is to determine sources for breast cancer test and/or procurement of services for a quantity of 8 Oncotype DX. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Durham VAMC breast cancer studies is based off a 21-gene assay that provides an individualized prediction of chemotherapy benefit and 10-year distant recurrence to inform adjuvant treatment decisions in certain women with early-stage invasive breast cancer. The 21-gene panel used to develop the Recurrence Score ® Algorithm. Proliferation: Ki-67, STK15, Survivin, Cyclin B1, MYBL2. Invasion: Stromelysin 3, Cathepsin L2. HER2: GRB7, HER2. Estrogen: ER, PR, Bcl-2, SCUBE2. Other: GSTM1, CD68, BAG1. Reference: Beta-action, GAPDH, RPLPO, GUS TFRC. Interested parties submitting a response to this inquiry must include the following information: name and address of company; business size (large or small); identify applicable socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information which demonstrates firms ability to meet the above requirement. All responses shall be submitted no later than September 30, 2014 at 9:00am EST. Responses shall be emailed to: cleveland.wynne@va.gov
