Description
This is a Revised Sources Sought Notice for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland, Oregon. This notice is for information/market research purposes only and is not a request for proposals, quotations or bids, or synopsis of a proposed contract action under FAR Subpart 5.2. No solicitation, specifications, or drawings are available at this time. This procurement is for: 1. Construction Indefinite-Delivery Contracts (IDC) 2. Multiple Award Task/Delivery Order Contract (MATOC): up to three (3) awardees 3. Estimated Construction Range: More than $10,000,000 4. NAICS Code: 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors 5. Small Business Size Standard: $15.0 M 6. Federal Service Code (FSC): N059 7. Statement - Under FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, the prime contractor must perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract (not including the cost of materials) with its own employees for specialty construction-type procurement. Prior Government contract work is not required for submitting a response under this sources sought notice. The purpose of this modified notice is to gain knowledge of interested parties, capabilities, socioeconomic status availability, capabilities location, and capability of various members of industry qualifications for both Large and Small Business Communities: Small Business (SB), 8(a), Small Disadvantage Business (SDB), Woman Owned Business (WO), Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZones). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. The Small Business Community is highly encouraged to respond. Please note that this market research is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the USACE. The solicitation will be for a contract and will be advertised as a Request for Proposal (RFP). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-on information requests.
