Description
RFI CAD Standards RFI Insurance RFI Schedule RFI Drawings RFI Assumptions CM RFI The South Dakota Science and Technology Authority is preparing a Scope of Work for providing professional Construction Management, Project Management, and/or engineering services at the Sanford Underground Research Facility in Lead, South Dakota, in support of the Long Baseline Neutrino Experiment Far Site Conventional Facilities Project. This Request For Information (RFI) is intended to gather necessary information to refine the Scope of Work and aid in the development of budgets for this work. A draft of language that may be used in a future procurement of services is attached to this RFI and describes the Scope of Work. We are soliciting input on the following items: 1. How would your firm propose to staff this effort? Please break this down by phase as stated in Section 9 of the attached draft Scope of Work, including position title, and number of individuals in each position. 2. What would your firm anticipate the overall cost to be for this effort? Please break this down by the phases stated in Section 9 of the attached draft Scope of Work. 3. Are there any aspects of the language included that are unclear, confusing, or contradictory? 4. Is the proposed timeline in the draft Scope of Work reasonable to prepare a reasonable response for a future RFP? 5. Do you have any comments of the proposed approach to contracting for these services? 6. Please provide any other feedback that you believe would improve either the Scope of Work or the effort in general. Responses to this RFI will be used to move ahead with the process of procuring these services. Responding to this RFI does not affect a firm's ability to participate in the future procurement of professional Construction Management services. All information included in this RFI is subject to change in the future, and is provided for informational purposes only. In support of this RFI, an informational session will be held via teleconference on October 14, 2014, during which a presentation will be given describing the project scope and CM scope as described herein. This session will also provide a venue for verbal questions and answers. All other questions should be submitted in writing by email to Ms. Sharon Hemmingson at shemmingson@sanfordlab.org. Responses to both verbal questions during the presentation and written questions will be posted to the Sanford Lab web site and sent via email to any party submitting a request to Ms. Hemmingson to receive such information.
