- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee intends to issue a sole source firm fixed priced contract to Automed Technologies, Inc. Automed Technologies, Inc. will furnish all labor, transportation, parts, and expertise necessary to provide preventive maintenance, emergency (unscheduled) repair, and 24x7 phone support for the Optifill, FastFill 64, and QuickFill units located in the Pharmacy at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center. This requirement will be sole sourced because Automed Technologies, Inc. and their authorized third party representatives are the only representatives who can carry out service work on their systems due to the propriety software owned by Abiomed. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), "soliciting from a single source." The NAICS code is 811219 and has a size standard of $20.5M for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 8:00a.m. EST, October 3 2014 to: Victoria.Rone3@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
