- This is not a Pre-solicitation or Solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice only. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain market knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classifications; HUB Zone, 8(a), Small Disadvantage Business, Woman Owned Business, Veteran Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Large Business relative to NAICS Code 488991, Packing and Crating. Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate determinations about potential sources only. No solicitation is currently available at this time. After review of the responses to this sources sought announcement a synopsis and/or solicitation announcement may be published at a later time. Responses to this notice shall include company name, address, point of contact, size of business pursuant to North American Industrial Classification Code (488991) and must respond to the following questions: 1)Is your business a small business under NAICS code 488991? 2) Are you a certified HUB Zone firm? 3) Are you a Woman Owned small business? 4) Are you a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned business? 5) Is your business a large business? 6) Is your business registered in SAM.gov? Please provide a capability statement addressing your organization's ability to perform as a prime contractor at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. the work described below: 1.Conduct a pre-move survey 2.Weigh Contents 3.Meet various time requirements 4.Perform preparation, packing, loading and containerization of goods. 5.Tag, inventory and prepare a packing list for goods. 6.Perform appliance servicing and unservicing. 7.Provide containers (Wood Crates) for interior and special items. 8.Properly label/mark exterior shipping containers 9.Store goods 10.Unpack, unload and prepare loss and damage reports as needed. 11.Properly document and report data pertaining to shipping/movement procedures. This Sources Sought Notice does not pertain to Competitive Outsourcing under A-76. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract.
