Description

The U.S. Army 409TH Contract Support Brigade-Theater Contracting Center, in support of USAREUR intends to award a firm fixed price, multiple award contract for 4000 boots, brand name or equal 775 Belleville Cold Weather, Waterproof. The cold weather boots must be capable of meeting, at a minimum the following technical requirements: 1) Protection in temperature down to -10 F; 2) Include a waterproof and breathable membrane; 3) Color of either Desert Tan or Sage Green 4) Gortex Lining 5) Provides excellent traction on both snow and ice 6) Meet requirements of Berry compliant manufacturing. The Government intends to award the first 750 boots immediately with delayed scheduling for the remaining 3250 boots. The first 750 must be delivered by 1 November 2014. The balance of the boots must be delivered by 1 December 2014 (1625) and 1 January 2015 (1625). The solicitation will be posted on or about 7 October 2014 with a closing date of 14 October 2014.
