- What: FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Vendor Day. Purpose: Learn how to do business with the FAA and assist identifying qualified SDVOSB capabilities to support the FAA mission. Who May Attend: Only U.S. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses with the following NAICS classification codes of 23-Construction, Code 541-Professional, Scientific and Technical Services, Code 54133 Engineering Services, Code 5415 Computer Systems Design and Related Services. Location: FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, next to the Atlantic City International Airport, Atlantic, City, NJ 08405 When: Thursday, October 30, 2014 Limited Attendance: Due to space restrictions, this event is limited to the first 50 Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses on a first- come first-served basis that respond by email not later than 4:00 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. No telephone calls please. Those companies accepted to attend the event will receive an email notification from Frank Mierzejewski. Registration/Attendance Request: Email Frank Mierzejewski at frank.mierzejewski@faa.gov. Be advised that all Registration/Attendance request subject line must read : "10/30/14 response". Failure to use the phrase, "10/30/14 response", may lead to disqualification. Vendor Day Format: Each vendor is encouraged to bring two company representatives. 8:30 AM to 1:00PM, one vendor representative will occupy one table in atrium for purposes of informing WJHTC technical employees of company capabilities. During same time period, one company representative will occupy a seat in the auditorium where FAA speakers will discuss various program activities and initiatives. FAA speakers will include Dennis Filler, Director, William J. Hughes Technical Center, Mike Greco, Acting Deputy Director, William J. Hughes Technical Center, Fred Dendy, Director, FAA Small Business Development Group. In addition, the following panel topics will be held: -William J. Hughes Technical Panel -Technology Transfer Program Panel -Doing Business with the FAA Panel Registration Required Information: Name (Limit two individuals per company), Name of Company, U.S. Citizenship (Yes or No). Foreign National Visitors will be required to provide additional information immediately without delay in order to attend by contacting Frank Mierzejewski at frank.mierzejewski@faa.gov.
