Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk “ Philadelphia Office intends to acquire on a sole source basis, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(1), only one responsible source, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, with Ruehlin Associates for the Navy ™s Four Star Flag Officer Transition Seminars. The objective of the Navy ™s Four Star Flag Officer Transition Seminars is to develop and conduct a customized career transition program that specifically designed to meet the unique needs and concerns of retiring U.S. Navy and Marine Corps four-star flag and general officers. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price purchase order and this acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the provisions stated in FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). This notice of intent is not a request for quotes “ however, the Government will consider information received by 12:00 PM, 14 October 2014. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government, and will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice.
