- Reclamations Great Plains Regional Office intends to solicit quotations for custodial services at the Pueblo Dam and Powerplant located in Pueblo, Colorado. The work under the solicitation will consist of the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, cleaning supplies, equipment, and supervision necessary to satisfactorily perform services as specified. The anticipated period of performance includes a twelve-month base period and four twelve-month option periods. Prospective offerors are encouraged to visit the performance site or otherwise familiarize themselves with the performance site to determine service and equipment requirements. Failure by prospective offerors to inspect the site will not relieve the offerors from the responsibility of properly estimating the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work in accordance with the Governments requirements. Site visit information will be included with the solicitation. Pursuant to Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or around October 27, 2014. Quotes will be due on or around November 26, 2014. Reclamation anticipates issuing the RFQ as a small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561720 and the associated Small Business Size Standard is $18.0 million. The RFQ will be available for viewing through electronic commerce. Reclamation will issue RFQ Number R15PS00032 to www.FedConnect.net and www.FBO.gov. The RFQ and any subsequent amendments and/or notices will be available to vendors on or around October 27, 2014. Any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov prior to award of a contract. SAM is a Federal Government owned and operated FREE website. Additionally, the procurement requires all invoices to be submitted for payment through the Internet Payment Platform (IPP) at www.ipp.gov. The SAM and IPP systems are federally owned and FREE.
