- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Neopost USA for the rental of Neopost postage meters all over the U.S. and maintenance for the meters. These products and services will work in conjunction with SSA's Neopost mailing equipment. Neopost doesn't authorize any other company to provide or sell Neopost meter rentals or maintenance. Therefore, this is a sole source aquisition. The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The period of performance will be 01/01/2015-12/31/2015 with 4 possible one-year option periods. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed-price order. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted in writing through FedConnect. Telephone calls regarding this matter will neither be accepted nor returned.
