Description

RFI - Scope and Submittal Instructions SPACE UTILIZATION PLANNING AND DESIGN DIVISION, COLLECTIONS STORAGE SOLUTIONS THIS NOTICE IS TO SERVE AS A FORMAL REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR THE REQUIREMENT OUTLINED BELOW: The Space Utilization Planning and Design division at the Library of Congress is seeking sources and information to determine the breath and scope of the industry's capability to provide collections storage solutions to modernize current collection storage systems within all Library of Congress Buildings with the goals of increasing storage capacity, enhancing preservation and ensuring maximum collection storage efficiency and accessibility. The vendor is expected to develop layouts and product options as well as detailed recommendations based on Library of Congress provided information. The vendor will provide options of how new storage systems will maximize capacity and efficiency. NOTE - This RFI is a part of the initial phase of this requirement and does not obligate the Library to sources who respond to this request for information. PLEASE REFERENCE THE ATTACHED RFI DOCUMENT LCISS15R0006 FOR THE OUTLINE OF THE SOW AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING THE REQUIRED INFORMATION
