- Solicitation Number W81XWH15T0017 will be issued on 10 October 2014 and proposals will be due on 17 October 2014. The US Army's requirement is to acquire an iSpot spectrum reader, Brand Name or Equal. It will be for Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), in Silver Spring, MD. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 and the size standard is 500 people. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS (MECs) The AID Autoimmune Diagnostica EliSpot iSpot Spectrum is an integral part of successful standardization and validation of validated pre-clinical and clinical assays for vaccine studies within the Malaria Vaccine Branch (MVB). MECs: iSpot Spectrum Reader: -Must be able to do enzymatic and fluorescent analysis. -Must have a Digital Firewire Camera, 5 megapixel, color, optimized for fluorescence imaging. -Must have a LED ring illumination, XBO light source, and a 7&1 filter wheel. -Must have at least 3 narrow band hard-coated fluorescent filters (FITC and Cy3) and a third one of user's choice on board. Up to 7 separate fluorescent filters must be possible. -Must be optimized for 1-, 2- and 3-color fluorescent analysis. -Must have an automated plate input/output module. -Must be controlled by a high-end PC, 21.5 quote mark 16:9 screen. -Must be160 mA @ 240 V/ 230 mA @ 110 V. -Must be CE, DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 13485 certificated.
