Description
The NAVSUP Weapons System Support (WSS) plans to award a five (5) year Repair Requirements Contract to support the repair of six (6) line components as follows: NIIN 01-494-7188, est. qty 570 ea; NIIN01-494-7193, est. qty 300 ea; NIIN01-563-6029, est qty 289 ea; NIIN01-518-1772, est. qty 20 ea; NIIN 01-503-4817, est. qty 515 ea; NIIN 01-573-1466, est. qty 229 ea. These items will be repaired by (5Y043) Honeywell International Inc., Phoenix Support Center, Phoenix AZ. Honeywell is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of these requirements and is the only known source to possess full repair capability. Complete data, drawings and the rights to same are not available from the Government. Therefore, the abovecited items are sole source to Honeywell. Even though these items are sole source to Honeywell, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. These items require Government source approval prior to contract award, as the items are flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support repair via full and open competition. Only the sources previously approved by the Government will be solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source, you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. This brochure identifies technical data required to be submitted based on your company ™s experience in repair of the same or similar items. This brochure can be obtained at https://www.navsup.navy.mil.navsup/ourteam/navicp/business_opps, If your request for source approval is currently being evaluated at NAVSUP WSS, submit with your offer a copy of the cover letter that forwarded your request for source approval. Offers received which fail to provide all data required by the Source Approval Brochure or document previous submission of all data required by the Source Approval Brochure will not be considered for award under this solicitation. Please note, if evaluation of a source approval request submitted hereunder cannot be processed in time and/or approval requirements preclude the ability to obtain these items in time to meet Government requirements, award of the requirement may continue based upon Fleet support needs.
