- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6-Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-76.The synopsis/ solicitation number is W91ZLK-15-T-0003. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Business under NAICS code 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Government contemplates an award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract to the lowest priced responsible offeror. Description of Requirement: 1.0 Scope: This contract is to provide a Quarterly Preventative Maintenance and remedial repair services on one LVD Strippit Model l250 H20, Serial Number 203112395 CNC Turret Punch Machine located in Bldg E3516, Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC), Aberdeen Proving Ground (Edgewood Area). 2.0 Objective: The objective of this requirement is to acquire a service contract for the preventative maintenance and remedial repair of the strippit CNC Turret Punch Machine. Period of Performance will be for one year and two option years. 3.0 Applicable Documents: Manufacturers' Equipment Specifications and Guides. 4.0 Requirements: The contractor shall furnish the necessary resources to perform the following work: The contractor shall provide maintenance and instrument service for the equipment specified. The timing will be scheduled by mutual agreement between the Government and the contractor. The contractor shall provide all necessary maintenance, labor, including travel time, repair parts maintenance supplies, tools, test equipment, transportation, documentation to include a log of work performed and results of performance checks. Maintenance services shall be performed in accordance with vendor's commercial practices. The contractor shall calibrate equipment when necessary and shall include all actions to completely test and calibrate the product to the original manufacturer's specification. This calibration shall be performed at the Government's facilities. Maintenance inspection shall be scheduled through the government point of contact and upon completion of the inspection, the contractor shall provide an inspection report after each visit to the COR showing all preventive maintenance done and what parts if any is needed to be repaired or replaced. Parts orders are not included and will be invoiced separately per Government's approval. The contractor shall not exchange equipment without written consent of the COR. The Contracting Officer shall be notified when this service would affect a change in the equipment under contract. Contractor performing this service will be required to provide software updates as needed per recommendation from the manufacturer without cost to the Government.
