Description
NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire services to develop and conduct a career transition program that is specifically designed to meet the unique needs and concerns of retiring senior U.S. Navy Supply Corps officers. The level of instruction must be appropriate for senior executives and must thoroughly prepare participants to successfully enter the civilian labor market. The contractor shall provide a total of three (3) Supply Corps Officer Career Transition Seminars during the base period of performance and two (2) during the Option periods. The length of each seminar is five (5) days. It is the Government ™s intent to process this procurement as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, and ultimately issue a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The applicable NAICS code is 611430. Upon its release, the RFQ will be issued electronically and be available for downloading at the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil or http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 20 October 2014. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered by NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above website for posting of the RFQ and any amendments hereto. The Government will not pay for the information received. By submitting a quote, the quoter is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirements that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database shall make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the internet at https://www.sam.gov/protal/public/SAM/.
