- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - West Point is conducting market research to ascertain the availability of interested and capable firms to provide concrete curb/sidewalk and roadway paving repairs and replacement at Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, PA. Work may include, but not be limited, to the following: Repair and replace bituminous paving, replace concrete curbs and sidewalks, and replace miscellaneous concrete items. An Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract type is anticipated, therefore work will be ordered through issuance of firm-fixed-priced task orders. It is anticipated that there will be a one (1) year base ordering period followed by four (4) one (1) year optional ordering periods. This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of the Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potentially qualified vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237310 (Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction) and possible socio-economic set-aside opportunities (SB, 8(a), HUBZone, and SDVOSB). The small business size standard for NAICS 237310 is $36.5M. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses are to be sent via email to Mark Draluck at mark.draluck@us.army.mil no later than 4:00 PM on 30 October 2014. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the price magnitude of this requirement is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Contractors shall submit (1) a narrative demonstrating their experience as related to this sources sought notice and (2) their bonding capability. Narratives shall be no longer than five (5) pages. Email responses are required. Respondents MUST include your business size.
