Description
The Department Of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY. 3400 N. Grandview Blvd. W-443 Waukesha, WI 53188-1615. General Electric will perform repairs and maintenance on the GE Infinia Nuclear Medicine Gamma Camera, as well as provide labor, travel, parts, and software reinstallation. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The place of performance is for the Marion Illinois VA Medical Center. The Marion VAMC is located at 2401 W. Main St Marion, IL 62959-1188. The NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5 Million. The task order award number is VA255-15-J-0195 against the NAC contract V797P-6019B. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 24 October 2014 at 2:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement VA255-15-J-0195 Notice of Intent. If after 24 October 2014, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department Of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with General Electric. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
