- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capabilities of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources pursuant to FAR Part 10. This is issued by the Shore Infrastructure Logistics Command West, Alameda, California to identify sources capable of providing all management, supervision, labor, and economical completion of all Base Operating and Support Services (BOSS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point, Kapolei, Hawaii. The work performed under this proposed contract includes the following specific items and tasks for preventive and/or incidental maintenance, repairs and services. 1. Fire Protection Systems 2. Security, CCTV & Intercom Systems 3. Oil/Water Separator & Grease Trap 4. Food Service (galley) equipment 5. Air Conditioning & Ventilation Systems 6. Scrubbers & Sweeper equipment 7. Fuel Storage & Distribution System 8. Streets, Parking Lots, & Aircraft Ramp sweeping 9. Pest Control 10. Custodial services 11. Refuse service 12. Water Treatment Systems 13. Wet Foreign Waste Services are required for a Base Year plus four (4) Option Years, if exercised by the Government, beginning 01 April 2015. A solicitation will be issued shortly and will be synopsized on FedBizOps Electronic Posting System at www.fbo.gov. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor this avenue for release of any solicitation or synopsis. The applicable NAICS Code is 561210, Facilities Support Services. The related small business size standard is $38.5. This MAYBE a 100% Set-Aside Small Business or 8(a) Competitive Small Business Concern or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside or HUBZone Set-Aside or Women Owned or other type small business concern. The decision will be made by the Government depending on the result of this Sources Sought. Any interested Small Business firms capable of providing these services is requested to respond to Mary Myers, Contract Specialist via e-mail Mary.K.Myers@uscg.mil NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M. PT on 30 October 2014 with the following documentation: Name of Company, Address, Point of Contact, Valid Telephone Number, facsimile (fax) number and email address. Business Size, (Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business; Service-Disabled Business, HUBZone, 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business; Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business and Women Owned). In addition, request that you submit your past performance information and a capability statement. Past Performance shall include recent and relevant contracts for the same or similar items and other references (including contract numbers, point of contact with valid telephone numbers, email address and other relevant information). Offerors shall furnish this information for NO MORE THAN THREE (3) contracts, on-going or completed within the last THREE (3) years, for like or similar services, held with the U.S. Coast Guard, other Government Agencies or Private Industry. Competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), which is the Official U.S. Government system that consolidates the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS.
