- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Music Therapy services for the Federal Medical Center located in Rochester, Minnesota. The contract period shall consist of the Effective Date of Award through September 30, 2015 and four 12 month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. A firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/requirements type contract will result from this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621399 (Size Standard: $7.5 million.) Estimated number of sessions will be 1440 sessions per year. A session will equal one (1) hour. The work will require an estimated 30 sessions per week and can be performed Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays) between the hours of 7:30am and 4:00pm. A mutually agreed upon schedule will be determined following the award of the contract. The solicitation will be available on or about October 20, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.ccr.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is November 17, 2014, 2:00 P.M. CT, however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date of award is December 1, 2014, with an effective starting date of January 1, 2015.
