Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Service Area-Atlanta, AAQ-510 ATL, has a requirement to provide Janitorial Service at the Charleston Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) 5775 S. Aviation Avenue, N. Charleston, South Carolina. The FAA contemplates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract for an initial base period of 1 (one) year with 4 one-year options. The base year period of performance for the contract is January 1, 2015 � December 31, 2015. This Requirement is offered to all qualified responsive concerns and offers will be considered using a tiered order of precedence. A tiered evaluation will be utilized, see section �M � of the solicitation package. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561720 � Janitorial Services. The small business size standard is $18 million, average annual receipts over the past 3 fiscal years. Note: A site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday November 5, 2014 at 1230 pm at the FAA Charleston Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) 5775 S. Aviation Avenue, N. Charleston, South Carolina. When responding to this Screening Information Request/Request for Offer (SIR/RFO), each offeror is required to submit a technical proposal and a cost proposal in accordance with the Screening Information Request (SIR) provision in Section L entitled, "Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors." Cost proposals are due no later than 3:00 p.m. local time (Eastern Time Zone), Friday November 14, 2014 and may be submitted to FAA, 1701 Columbia Avenue, College Park, Georgia 30337. The proposal must be sealed and labeled as follows: ATTN: Maxine Cross, AAQ-510ATL - SIR DTFAEN-14-R-00100. Proposals may be submitted electronically to Maxine.cross@faa.gov. If you chose to send your offer electronically, we will not be responsible for a failure attributable to transmitting or receiving the offer. Offerors submitting proposals by hand-delivery will need to consider allowing sufficient time to process through the security procedures in place at delivery at the Eastern Service Center-Atlanta. Overnight delivery of responses to this SIR/RFO may also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for the special mail-handling procedures in place at Eastern Service Center-Atlanta.
