Description

Synopsis: Expression of Interest Sought "A notice seeking "expressions of interest "is not a notice for a competitive acquisition. It is an advertisement whose purpose is to gauge potential market interest before making a leasing decision. The Government currently occupies medical office and related space in a building under lease in Garnett Kansas that will be expiring. The Government requires medical office and related space yielding a minimum of 1000 Net Usable Square Feet (NUSF) medical office area. Minimum, NUSF: 1000 Maximum, NUSF: 1200 The lease term requirement is for a total of ten (10) years, one (2) year firm with eight (8) Option years. The space must be available for occupancy by April 1, 2015. The delineated area is within a 10 mile radius of 6th and Main, Garnett KS. Other applicable requirements include the following features: "Located on ground level "Outside the 100 year flood plain "Fully Serviced The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the Governments requirements, as well as cost likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. "Building name or address and location of the available space within the building. "Rentable square feet available, and expected rental rate per rentable square foot, fully serviced. "Indicate whether the quoted rental rate includes and amount for tenant improvements and state the amount if any. "Date of space availability "Building Ownership information "Amount of parking available on-site and its cost if not included in lease rate. "Energy efficiency and renewable energy features existing within the building "List of building services provided The Governments decision regarding whether to relocate will be based, in part, on information received in response to this advertisement.
