Description
The following language is hereby made part of the Special Notice: A 2-month bridge contract will be issued via sole source to SDC, Inc., CAGE Code 75123, the incumbent contractor, while a 3-year follow-on contract is competed among HUBZone contractors. The solicitation for the 3-year contract will be posted as a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation as Request for Proposal number W9124J-15-R-0004 on or about 31 October 2014. It should be noted that the Justification and Approval for the 2-month bridge contract will be posted as an additional modification to this Special Notice no later than 31 October 2014. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the Administrative and Technical Support Services as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.Fort Hunter Liggett (FHL) is in Monterey County, California, approximately twenty-five (25) miles southwest of King City and 86 miles south of old Fort Ord. Generally, the installation is bounded on the north by Los Padres National Forest and private lands, on the east by the foothills of the Santa Lucia Mountains, on the south by the Monterey/San Luis Obispo county line, and on the west by approximately fifty-five (55) miles of Los Padres National Forest. The installation encompasses approximately one-hundred-sixtytwo-thousand (162,000) acres and provides a vast array of training ranges and other facilities year-round for Combat Support and Combat Service Support units of the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR), and training opportunities for other branches of the U.S. military and government agencies. FHL's mission is to maintain and allocate training areas, airspace, facilities, and ranges to support field maneuvers, live-fire exercises, testing, and institutional training. Additionally, the installation provides quality-of-life assets and logistical support to training units.
