- Justifications Prep for Delivery The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement and requesting quotations for the following parts: Item 1) Diffuser, Paxman P/N 790A211P14 Qty: 1 EA Item 2) Seal Plate Paxman P/N 650M469P10 Qty: 1 EA Item 3) Tank Paxman P/N 790A211P30 Qty: 1 EA Item 4) Pulley Paxman P/N 80MZ138 Qty: 1 EA Item 5) Cover Shutdown Trip Paxman P/N Y3J27625A Qty: 2 EA Item 6) Adapter Equal Male/Male Paxman P/N ST040167 Qty: 2 EA Item 7) Washer Brt Small 1.125" Paxman P/N ST013112 Qty: 2 EA Item 8) Casing W.P. Delv Paxman P/N Y3J42019A Qty: 1 EA Delivery on or before 11/28/14, Proposed Delivery __________ The items are used on Paxman engine overhauls. Substitute part numbers are NOT acceptable. All items shall be individually packaged and bar-coded. Markings shall be in accordance with Coast Guard specification SP-PP&M-001. Inspection and acceptance shall take place at Destination after verification of preservation, Individual packaging and marking requirements and confirmation of no damage during transit. Failure to comply with packaging requirements will result in rejection and nonpayment. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, Baltimore MD. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. Substitute parts are not acceptable. It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source purchase order shall be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. It is the Government's belief that only Man Diesel & Turbo UK, and/or their authorized distributors can obtain the required technical and engineering data, and genuine OEM parts, required to successfully provide these items. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide these items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within three (3) calendar days from the day this notice is posted. The information submitted must include a letter from the OEM verifying the offeror is an authorized distributor, and verifying the OEM will supply only genuine OEM parts. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2005-77 (OCT 2014) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this solicitation is _334290 and the Small Business Size Standard is _750. This synopsis/solicitation is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) and shall provide the company Tax Information Number (TIN) with their offer. The closing date and time for receipt of quote is OCT 29, 2014_, at _12_ p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The following FAR Clauses provisions apply to this solicitation.
