- SLAC seeks vendor that can provide the following: One (1) each of mechanical UHV vacuum assembly for a Soft X-ray Spectrometer. The varied line space plane grating spectrometer will be optimized to operate between 400 eV and 1000 eV at a resolving power between 2000-5000. The entire spectrometer will be supported by an experimental end station frame. The mechanical system will accept and manipulate two optical elements (spherical mirror and grating) as well as an x-ray detector. There will be four independent baffles upstream of the optical elements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. VENDORS INTERESTED IN BEING CONSIDERED AS A POTENTIAL SOURCE SHOULD IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS AN "INTERESTED PARTY" VIA THE FBO PORTAL. DO NOT CONTACT THE SUBCONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR.
