Description

Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) intends to compete a delivery order under existing Basic Ordering agreements with Huntington Ingalls Incorporated, Newport News Shipbuilding (HIINNS), 4104 Washington Ave, Newport News, VA 23607 and Electric Boat Corporation (EB), 75 Eastern Point Rd, Groton, CT 06340. HIINNS and EB are the only known sources with the detailed knowledge of and familiarity with nuclear submarines qualified to perform the required work. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal to be considered by the agency. Firms interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact HIINNS and EB directly. The noted closing date is December 8, 2014; however, PSNS & IMF reserves the right to change this to an earlier time and date based on pending approval for a Justification and Approval for urgency.
