- Synopsis for the Computer Based Instructional Development II (CBID II) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) requirement -- The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) anticipates posting a Request for Proposals leading to single award of an IDIQ contract, with an ordering period up to five (5) years. PEO STRI's goal for the resultant CBID II ID/IQ contract is to acquire training utilizing accepted instructional system design standards, simulation products and services, and associated training infrastructure. The CBID II Statement of Work (SOW) describes the scope of requirements anticipated, while individualized Performance Based Work Statements (PBWSs or PWSs) will specifically define requirements at the delivery or task order level. THE SOLICITATION NUMBER FOR THE CBID II REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN UPDATED TO REFLECT THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR (FY 15) AND WILL BE POSTED AS W900KK-15-R-0006. SOLICITATION NUMBER W900KK-13-R-0017 IS OBSOLETE, FOR THE PURPOSE OF RESPONDING TO THE CBID II REQUIREMENT. The Government intends to solicit this requirement as a competitive total small business set-aside. CBID II is a supply centric effort (e.g. delivery of interactive multimedia instruction (a.k.a. courseware)) with incidental services. The selected NAICS code for CBID II is 541519, with a size standard of $27.5M.
