Description
This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. Anniston Army Depot, Anniston Alabama will have a construction requirement to identify tasks required to complete specific jobs and will issue task orders to the contractor to complete those jobs. Work shall vary in size and complexity and will include tasks in a variety of trades to include, but not limited to carpentry, excavating, interior and exterior electrical, plumbing, painting, HVAC, concrete masonry, equipment, and design when necessary. This will be a Multiple Award Task Order (MATOC) Contract. Period of performance - one year from date of award (or $15,000,000 whichever comes first) with 4 option periods of 1 year or $15,000,000 per option period. Total contract value will not exceed $75,000,000.00 This requirement will be issued as an 8(a) competitive set-aside. North American Industry Classification System Code is 236210, Industrial Building Construction; size standard is $33,500,000. Interested businesses/companies should prepare a statement of capabilities to include the following: 1. Organization's name, address, email, telephone and website address 2. Your company's size classification and socio-economic status in any response to this notice. 3. The government contemplates a Firm Fixed Price MATOC. Do you see any barriers to this contract type? Please explain. 4. Task Orders will vary in scope and value. Is there a minimum order value that would be required for your firm to provide a task order bid? 5. Past Experience - describe your experience of similar type, size and complexity to that which is the subject of this Sources Sought. 6. Provide a listing of three (3) most recent and relevant projects your firm has performed. Include contract number, location, value period of performance and scope of work and point of contact. 7. Responses must be received no later than 10 November 2014 at 4:00 PM (CDT). After a review of the responses received a solicitation MAY be published in Federal Business Opportunities.
