- Description
- The National Park Service intends to issue a request for quotation for asphalt paving to be performed at Olympic National Park, Quinault Visitor Center access road and parking area. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for small business firms. The NAICS Code is 237310 and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. The magnitude of construction is $25,000 to $100,000. The work of the contract is to lay 2 ½ inches of asphalt pavement on an existing gravel road surface. Additional information on the Quinault Visitor Center can be located at http://www.nps.gov/olym/planyourvisit/visiting-quinault.htm. The solicitation will be issued as a request for quotation on or about November 12, 2014 with a response date 30 days thereafter. If a pre-bid conference is held, details will be provided in the solicitation. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart part 4.1102, prospective contractors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. SAM registration is available for free online at the following Internet web address: https://sam.gov. All questions must be in writing to Rod Roberson, Contracting Officer, at Rod_Roberson@nps.gov. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation. Interested parties are urged to check for amendments. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation.
