NAVFAC Washington 1314 Harwood Street, SE Building 212 Washington Navy Yard, DC 20374 Point of Contact: Annie Nguyen, Contract Specialist, annie.nguyen@navy.mil, 202.685.3144 NAVFAC Washington is interested in gaining knowledge of all potential offerors capable of performing infectious waste services within a 100-mile radius of Washington Navy Yard, D.C., to include the states of Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Project Description: Provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to collect and dispose of all properly labeled infectious, medical, and pathological waste containers. This is a combination Firm-Fixed Price and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity “ performance based contract. Annex Information: Annex 1 “ General Information Annex 2 “ Management and Administration Annex 18 “ Environmental “ Infectious, Medical, and Pathological Waste Services The period of performance for this contract is a base period and four option years, not to exceed 60 months. The NAICS Code is 562211 - Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal. All eligible businesses are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought Notice. Offerors are reminded that œTHIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.  The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified business sources capable of performing the described work. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall not constitute responses to solicitation, which is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later date. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Sources Sought Notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. The information received will be utilized to assist in formulating the acquisition. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. Firms responding to this Sources Sought Notice are requested to provide NAVFAC Washington with capability statements, limited to 10 pages, which need to include at a minimum: a.Company name and CAGE code b.Mailing address c.Point of contact (to include phone/fax and e-mail) d.Website, if applicable. e.Degree of experience providing same or similar services as outlined in required information and other information above. f.Identify any past or current Government contracts for same or similar services within the last three years. g.Small business classification, if applicable. h.Current security clearance of the company, if applicable. i.Eligibility to obtain Secret or Top Secret Clearance. Please provide information and capability of your business/company no later than 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, November 12, 2014.
