PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE 1.Y 2.1220 3.2 4.36109 5.Small Business Set-Aside 6.VBA Office of Acquisition, 1800 G. Street N. W., Washington, DC 20006 7.Building (turnkey operation) Three Shared Office Spaces 8.VA101V-14-R-0071 9.11102014 10.Debra Rollins 11.N/A 12.N/A 13.N/A 14.N/A 15.N/A 16.The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision equipment, supplies, tools, and a dumpster for debris, to build shared offices at the Montgomery VARO. All construction must meet ADA requirements. Vendors are required to attend the scheduled site visit. IAW VAAR 836-204, the magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Scope of Work: The shared offices should be (approximately: (2)-100 sq. ft. - 10x10 and (1) 64 sq. ft. - 8x8). 1. Remove existing work stations without damage and relocate to designated area on site. 2. Relocate/install sprinkler heads and strobes to meet fire code specifications. 3. Relocate/install AC supply and return ducts, as needed. 4. Install power in each wall according to electrical code. 5. Install power and data on each wall. Stub cable in ceiling. 6. Relocate/install lighting an energy efficient design that, at minimum, meets ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1 lighting power density requirements. 7. The shared offices must contain one door for entrance/exit matching current interior office doors. 8. The space shall have wall construction with a minimum Sound Transmission Coefficient (STC) rating of 53. The ceiling shall have equivalent sound barriers and extensions of the walls to the solid structure above (slab to slab). During Construction, the contractor must install a dust control system to minimize/eliminate dust in the work area. The VARO must remain 100% operational to provide services to our veterans; therefore, all work specified in this solicitation must be completed during 6:00 p.m. and 4:00 a.m. Any work outside of this time frame will have to be approved by the Contracting Officer (CO). 17. Work Location: The Contractor will perform all work at the following location: Department of Veterans Affairs Montgomery Regional Office 345 Perry Hill Road, Building 42 Montgomery, AL 36109 18.This solicitation is set-aside exclusively for Small Business Concerns. Offerors must be listed in the Small Business Databases on http://dsbs.sba.gov and System For Award Management Database on www.sam.gov at the date and time set for receipt of proposals as well as the time of award to be considered. Proposals from Offerors who are not listed on the SBA Database will be rejected as non-responsive.
