- Pentagon Force Protection Agency Ammunition Request for Information A. Purpose The Washington Headquarter Services (WHS) is requesting information to determine Small Business sources to provide Ammunition, in support of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. B. Objective The objective is to obtain information about suppliers that: • Are a Small business • Are capable of providing ammunition for, but not limited to, the following Brands(see attached spec sheets): •.300 Winchester Magnum Ammunition • Fiocchi Frangible Training Ammunition • Fiocchi Duty Ammunition • Speer 9mm Frangible Training Ammunition • Winchester 9mm NATO Luger Ammunition • Force on Force 9mm Marking Round Ammunition. • Force on Force 9mm Blank Rounds • Speer.40 Caliber Ammunition • Speer.40 Caliber Frangible Training Ammunition • International Cartridge Corp Frangible 12 Gauge Shotgun Ammunition • Remington 12 Gauge Shotgun Duty Ammunition • Royal Arms Ammunition • Direct Impact Ammunition • Skat Shell Ammunition • Ferret Liquid Round Ammunition • Reloadable Training Round Ammunition • Ultimate Training Munitions 9mm SBR • Capable of sustaining a Blanket Purchase Agreement for a period of 5 years • The Gov't is requesting a vendor to provide testing of the following ammunition. Please respond with your capabilities to provide testing at a Pentagon location. •.223 Remington and NATO 5.56 x 45mm (See item #29) • 300 Winchester Magnum (See item #30) •.308 Winchester (See item #31) C. Requirements: RFI responses must include: 1. Name of the primary point of contact 2. Business title 3. Email address 4. A brief summary of your capabilities to meet the aforementioned objectives. 5. Filled in lead times for Ammunition (see attachment) 6. Business Size 7. What contract vehicles your company can utilize 8. Statement of your familiarity of the DPAS Rating codes under 15 CFR 700 THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR REIMBURSE ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS RFI. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Whatever information is provided in response to this RFI will be used to determine an acquisition strategy. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents shall classify their company using one or more (if applicable) of the following NAICS Codes: • 332992 - Small Arms Ammunition Manufacturing (Small Business size standard is 1000 employees) Due Date: All RFI responses are due no later than 0900 hours (9:00AM) EST, 3 November 2014.
