- Description
- Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), Orlando, FL, in support of the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), intends to issue a contract modification to Tyonek Services Corporation, under contract N61340-13-D-0005, to raise the ceiling value of the contract and permit orders to run through 31 March 2015. This modification will be issued on an other than full and open competition basis as only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirements. This contract is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with predominately Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) which provides for mechanic and artisan labor to perform maintenance actions on aircraft, aircraft engines and associated components/materials undergoing Depot Level Maintenance (DLM). The follow-on services procurement will support modernization, conversion, in-service repair, disassembly, and all other categories of aircraft DLM and intermediate maintenance in support of FRCSE Jacksonville, FL and its remote sites. NAWCTSD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Tyonek Services Corporation, Anchorage AK. This sole source action is being requested in order for the FRCSE to have uninterrupted service until the new contract is awarded (N61340-14-R-0002), which has taken longer than originally anticipated. Any firms believing they can provide these services may submit a written request to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 15 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firms ™ ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the services provided and without causing an interruption of critical services. The firm ™s response should also illustrate how it can overcome the start-up costs necessary to assume this effort in the short period of performance that this synopsis represents. The contract was originally solicited on an other than full and open competition basis pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS Code is 336411 and the FSC/PSC is J015. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This notice of intent is for information purposes only.
