Description

The Army Contracting Command New Jersey at Fort Dix, NJ intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of Army Knowledge Online Enterprise Services (AKO-ES) in support of Product Director Enterprise Content Collaboration and Messaging (PD EC2M) Army Knowledge Online - Enterprise Services (AKO-ES). EC2M AKO-ES provides web-based enterprise information services to approximately 2 million, primarily Army, but also some joint and DoD customers wherever the DoD has a presence on a twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) day a week, 365 days a year (24x7x365) basis. Enterprise services are provided to these customers on both classified and unclassified networks and include portal, email, instant messaging, directory, discovery, business process management, and single sign-on (SSO). PD EC2M AKO-ES is seeking a single Systems Integrator to provide the broad range of IT services outlined in the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) on an ID/IQ basis. This DRAFT PWS represents a change in focus for AKO-ES, in that previous actions have focused on AKO-ES Operations and Maintenance (O&M)/Sustainment activities exclusively, this DRAFT PWS is focused on a broader range of Information Technology (IT) initiatives including O&M, Modernization, and Re-use /Redesign of existing systems/applications. Responses to this notice shall not be construed as offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this draft PWS. All costs associated with responding to this draft PWS will be solely at the interested party's expense.
