- Details for Industry Day AFLCMC located at Hanscom, AFB, MA, requests information from industry to identify qualified, experienced, and interested sources for procurement of communications gateway products that will digitally connect and exchange data between 5th Generation Fighters (e.g., F-22 and F-35) and 4th Generation Fighters (e.g., F-15, F-16, F-18) with the potential to connect to additional platforms (e.g., Command and Control (C2) units; Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) units; bomber aircraft; and national assets). The information and questions being asked is at the "For Official Use Only" (FOUO) level. Bidders that request the FOUO information must provide their company facility CAGE code to Capt Siefkes and Mr. Bailey, which will be validated through the Industrial Security Facility Database for company clearance information. Bidders that request the FOUO information and are determined eligible to receive the information must follow the requirements set forth by the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, dated 28 February 2006, Incorporating Change 1, dated 28 March 2013 and DODM 5200.01, Volume 4, dated 24 February 2012. Once determined eligible, information will be sent through a file exchange system. Access to classified information is not required to respond to this RFI; however, in the event a RFP is issued in the future, the program may require access to SECRET/SPECIAL ACCESS REQUIRED and higher as well as facility clearances. There will be an Industry Day held in conjunction with this RFI held at Langley AFB. See attached Industry Day documentation for further details. The Industry Day dates are subject to change. Please provide answers to the following questions in the response: a) Identify whether your entity is a small or large business. Small businesses should specify Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Women-owned Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business (HUB)-Zone Small Business, or Service Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business concern under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 336413 b) Please provide company address, Commercial and General Entity (CAGE) Code, Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number, and points of contact with name(s), telephone number(s), and e-mail address(es) Submit responses to this RFI in electronic format to the Contracting Officer, Capt Jordan Siefkes at jordan.siefkes@us.af.mil no later than 1200 Eastern Standard Time on 02 Dec 2014. Limit white paper responses to a maximum of 25 pages of data (required format: 8.5 inch X 11 inch paper, Times New Roman Font, 12 pitch, 1-inch margins, single spaced). An additional 5 pages of information, such as cover sheets, marketing materials, brochures, etc. may be included. The stated requirements within this RFI contain all of the required criteria; AFLCMC will provide no other requirement information and will not grant any submittal extensions to this RFI. All submitted questions and corresponding answers will be posted to the FedBizOps (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov. AFLCMC will address questions and corresponding answers of a proprietary nature on a case-by-case basis. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Air Force is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on Federal Business Opportunities (FedbizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
