- This Pre-Solicitation Notice has been posted to change the requirement solicitation number from N00189-14-R-Z064 to N00189-15-R-Z003. The anticipated release date is on or about 11/13/2015. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office, intends to acquire, on behalf of The Center for Information Dominance (CID) at Corry Station, Pensacola, Florida, Information Technology (IT)/ Information Assurance (IA) training at the accession and advanced skills levels (A and C School) in response to mandated DoD Instruction 8570.01-M requirements. The DoD, Navy, and CID focus is on Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level-I/II achievement, as cited in DoD Instruction 8570.01-M, upon graduation of IT A-school (Information Systems Technician) and IT C-School (SysAdmin), respectively. Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) curriculum has been procured for use in delivering professional certification training to DoD personnel. Topics include, but are not limited to the following Microsoft Official Academic Curriculum (MOAC) and Cisco Networking Academy Exploration Curriculum items: Windows 7 Configuration (70-680 exam); Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Configuration (70-640 exam); Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure (70-642 exam); Windows Server 2008 Administrator (70-646 exam); Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Configuration (objectives tied to 70-236 exam); and Cisco Networking IT Essentials for CompTIA A+ 220-801 and 220-802 exams (A+ Essentials and A+ Practical Application); Cisco Introduction to Networks (Cisco Certified Network Associate-1); Routing and Switching Essentials (Cisco Certified Network Associate-2); and CompTIA Security+ SYO-401 exam. These services shall be procured, through a competitive acquisition, from the Small Business Administration (SBA) using the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The period of performance will include a base period, estimated to begin on 15 January 2015 through 30 September 2015, with four (4) one-year option provisions. The NAICS code is 611420 and the size standard is $10 million. The type of contract anticipated is a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, non-personal services contract. The policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquistion of Commercial Items, will be used. The full solicitation and all amendments will only be available at http://www.neco.navy.mil.
