Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Chemdaq Incorporated for annual sensor replacement and calibration at the William S Middleton VA Medical Center in Madison, WI. The manufacturer for these sensors is Chemdaq Incorporated. This procurement will be for a base year and four option years. Chemdaq Incorporated is the only know vendor capable of providing sensors that are compatable with our Chemdaq ETO machines. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 8.405-6 Limited Source Justification Approval and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 5:00 PM (CST) November 5, 2014. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, email Stephen.clements2@va.gov or via fax to (414) 844-4891. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Chemdaq Incorporated
