Description
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requires computer network infrastructure replacement for its facility located in Ann Arbor, MI. The Contractor shall provide all necessary work for designing, acquiring, installing and configuration of a replacement IT network infrastructure that is modern in use, including wired and wireless capabilities. The Contractor shall plan, schedule, coordinate, manage, supervise, and perform all of the work necessary in order to meet the requirements identified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is available on the FedConnect link below associated with this FedBizOpps announcement. EPA has scheduled a pre-solicitation conference for prospective offerors beginning at 8:30 am on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL) in Ann Arbor, MI. EPA will conduct an approximate two (2) hour tour of the facility for prospective offerors to understand the current network infrastructure and gather information to provide feedback on the DRAFT PWS. After the tour, EPA personnel will be available for prospective offerors to provide feedback on the DRAFT PWS, offer potential solutions, and ask questions. The feedback will allow EPA to finalize its market research and plans for procurement. Prospective offerors interested in attending the pre-solicitation conference are required to register in order to attend. Please register via written request to Tharp.Scott@epa.gov by 4:30 pm (ET) Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Your written request should include the names of attendees (no more than two (2) attendees from each prospective offeror), whether the offeror is a large or small business, and type of small business (i.e. 8(a), Small Disadvantaged, Woman-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, etc.), if applicable. Your request to attend will be acknowledged with additional pertinent information no later than 4:30 pm (ET) Friday, November 28, 2014. This is not a solicitation for a Request for Proposals. Attendance at the pre-solicitation conference is not a prerequisite for submitting a proposal, should one be requested in the future.
