- Description
- GSA Seeks to Engage FBO.gov Users GSA's Integrated Award Environment Office (IAE) is continuing to engage and have thoughtful dialogue with our systems' users. We will be holding focus groups with FBO users to understand their goals and experiences with federal opportunities. To initiate these conversations, IAE is asking that FBO users who would like to provide input to answer this brief FBO User Survey. Through the survey, we will gather a preliminary understanding of the various FBO users as a basis for focus group planning. Responses are due Friday, November 14. (Survey link should be pasted into browser: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/11HNZjsL1fJ8J9ikTFDpLxv0-6b68-jmRZCcEQny5cXM/viewform IAE aims to develop a detailed understanding of a diverse set of user perspectives- from throughout government and industry. This understanding will be crucial to successful design and development to ensure the future of robust and transparent federal-wide competitions for all procurement opportunities and entities seeking to do business. Half-day focus groups will be held from December, 2014 through March, 2015 with options to attend in-person in Washington, D.C. or to participate virtually. Focus group participation may not be available to all survey respondents; IAE's Interact Industry Community (https://interact.gsa.gov/group/integrated-award-environment-iae-industry-community) will be updated with additional opportunities to offer user feedback. FBO will be the first system to be built in the new integrated environment- which gradually -through fiscal year 2018- will incorporate 10 government-wide procurement and grant data systems: FBO, CFDA, eSRS, FSRS, FAPIIS, PPIRS, CPARS, WDOL, FPDS and SAM. For more information on the Integrated Award Environment Presidential E-Government initiative, visit www.gsa.gov/iae. Please direct any questions or comments to iaeoutreach@gsa.gov. GSA appreciates your support and looks forward to working with you.
