- This is a Sources Sought only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to assess the commercial marketplace for ambulance services in California. The general service area spans the following California counties and all California counties north of: Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Alameda, San Benito, San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Tuolumne. The principle campuses of the VA facilities in this contract are in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Martinez and Sacramento (Mather Air Force Base) Oakland, Redding, Chico, Fairfield, McClellan, Yuba City, Mare Island, Yreka, and Vallejo. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 621910 with Small Business size of $15 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs is contemplating indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts for up to five years in duration for ambulance services. A DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. Please read through the DRAFT PWS before responding to this notice. If your company provides ambulance services to either all or some of the areas identified, please provide the information requested below: 1.Company Name 2.Company Duns & Bradstreet Number 3.Socio-economic Status (e.g. large business, small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business, etc.) 4.Point of Contact with Name, Email Address, and Telephone Number 5.What service areas does the company currently operate? Please identify the county(ies). Providing a map of coverage areas would be helpful, but is not mandatory. 6.Are there any exclusivity agreements applicable to service areas? If so, please provide general details. 7.How many ambulance vehicles does the company have? Please describe the average age of the fleet. 8.Please describe critical care (CCT) capabilities for the areas the company services. 9.Please provide the company's combined response time compliance for May and June 2014 for a given area the company services.
