- Sources Sought Form This Sources Sought Notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. This notice is to make the industry aware of an upcoming requirement. Please be advised that this requirement may be delayed, revised, or cancelled at any time prior to an award being made. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330 - Engineering Services (Size Standard $15.0M). The Government intends on issuing multiple Indefinate Delivery/Indefinate Quantity contracts. Character and Extent of Services. The Architect-Engineer (A-E) shall perform all or part of the services described specifically in Task Orders, when and as ordered in writing, by the Contracting Officer during the period of the contract. Work is expected to fall in the general categories of: Activities required for delisting of Great Lakes Area of Concern Beneficial Use Impairments, Toxic Substances and Areas of Concern; Invasive Species; Nonpoint Source Pollution Impacts on Nearshore Health; Habitat and Wildlife Protection and Science Based Adaptive Management; Coordination and Administration of Great Lakes Dredging Team and its Committees; Aquatic Plant Control and Ecosystem Restoration; NEPA documentation, conducting environmental impact analysis, cultural resource/archeological investigations and impact analysis, wetland/stream design for mitigation, and landscape architectural services for planting plans. It is anticipated that the majority of the projects will involve studies, technical investigations, evaluation of potential alternatives, numerical modeling, consultations, comprehensive planning, program management, conceptual designs, preparation of plans and specifications and other related services in support of Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI), Dredged Material Management Planning, or other Civil Works projects. The majority of the work will be performed at various project sites throughout the Great Lakes region but could include services within the USACE Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Boundaries. Please see the attached Sources Sought Form with instructions regarding the submittal of information in response to this notice. All responses should be submitted to Frank J. D'Andrea at frank.j.dandrea@usace.army.mil in a.pdf format. Any announcements, solicitation, amendments, other notices, and all other related documents and information will be issued via internet ONLY utilizing the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. It is the contractor's responsibility to stay current with all postings and respond as required. All interested offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website to receive an award.
