- Description
- 1. The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to solicit quotes for a contractor to provide services to finish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and applicable licenses and permits necessary to perform Audiology Equipment Calibration, Testing and Repair for the Spokane Veteran Affairs Medical Center. The contractor shall test audiology devices listed in the contract to determine that they operate in accordance with manufacturer specifications and fall within the limits of calibration as established by the manufacturer and jurisdictional regulations. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is VA260-15-Q-0091. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a fixed-priced. The applicable NAICS code is 811219 - Audiology Equipment Calibration, Testing and Repair Services and the small business size standard is $20.5 Million. This procurement is set aside for small business. 3. The anticipated contract period is: Date of Award - 30 September 2015 plus four (4) one-year option periods. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is 13 November 2014 and the anticipated closing date is 1 December 2014. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that they are registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/#1 and ensure that the that the applicable NAICS code 811219 is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of quotes. 6.
