NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA) 10 November 2014 NOTICE OF CONTRACT AWARD, SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. 1. Contract Award Number: FA8818-15-C-0030 2. Contracting Office Address: Space & Missile Systems Center, ADK 3548 Aberdeen Ave SE Kirtland AFB NM 87117-5778 3. Contracting Officer: Mr. J. Chris Milburn, SMC/ADKA 4. Classification Code: A 5. NAICS Code: 541712, Space Vehicles and Guided Missiles 6. Set-aside Status: N/A 7. Contract Award Dollar Amount: $7,907,373 with an option to increase another $1,852,962 8. Contract Performance Schedule (with Options): 1 November 2014 - 31 October 2016 9. Contractor (Place of Performance): MEI Technologies, Inc. 18050 Saturn Ln Ste 300 Houston, TX, 77058-4502 Description 1. On 31 October 2014, the Space & Test Program (STP), DoD Human Exploration Payload contract (FA8818-15-C-0030) was awarded to MEI Technologies, Inc. The basic contract was awarded with an 18 month Performance Schedule with a six (6) month option extension of services. As part of the STP program, this contract is responsible for the development of manned missions that fly to the International Space Station (ISS) and their associated re-supply launch vehicles. 2. This contract was awarded in accordance with policies and procedures outlined under 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) (Other Than Full and Open Competition). 3. The intent of this Notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposal. This synopsis is not a formal solicitation. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this synopsis, nor otherwise pay for information which is submitted as a result of this Notice.
