- THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT FOR InterMAPhics Development License and Support and Maintenance BACKGROUND: The SED Development Division requires InterMAPhics Development License Support and Maintenance and Licenses. The only source for this required procurement is Kongsberg Gallium, Ltd. specifically required by the Aviation Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command (RDECOM), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. AUTHORITY CITED- The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
