Description

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has a requirement for Open Text software maintenance for a base period of December 01, 2014 through November 30, 2015 with four (4) optional twelve (12) month periods. The anticipated award date is November 20, 2014. USPTO is exempt from the Competition in Contracting Act under the Patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act, 35 U.S.C. 2(b)(4)(A) and the subject requirement is being procured using the Alternative Competition Method as described in the Patent and Trademark Office Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG). In accordance with the PTAG, the USPTO has identified that only Open Text, Inc. as the OEM could provide the software maintenance support; therefore no further market research was conducted. As a result, no solicitation will be issued.
