- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal. This announcement is considered market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. NO SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED AT THIS TIME. THE DLA LAND AND MARITIME IS ISSUING THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS AS A MEANS OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY PARTIES HAVING AN INTEREST IN AND THE RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: ITEM: OSCILLATOR, NONCRYSTAL CONTROLLED NSN 5955-01-431-8686 is to be procured in-accordance-with approved sources CAGE(s) 21856, 26269, and 97942 part number 783R199G01 and I/A/W all associated drawings. Once the solicitation is issued, interested sources must submit the appropriate information outlined in DLAD 52.217-9002, Conditions for Evaluation and Acceptance of Offers for Part Numbered Items. Centroid, Inc. (21856), U. S. Dynamics Corp. (26269), and Northrop Grumman Systems (97942) are currently the only current approved sources. DLA Land And Maritime does NOT have any/adequate technical data with which to procure these items and any alternate offeror must provide a complete data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation. Government First Article Testing (FAT)and Source Inspection will be required for all sources not "waived" for FAT requirements. A quantity of 20 each up to 55 each may be required and will be shipped to a DLA stocking location. The Purpose of this synopsis is to locate sources interested in becoming approved sources. Submission Instructions: Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) must be sent to Kenneth Planty via email at kenneth.planty@dla.mil by the response date listed in this synopsis and should include in their submission, information on their products/services, company, CAGE code, capability, company size/profile, and any other supportive information. Respondents will be placed on the solicitation mailing list. This RFI is for market research purposes only. Any information submitted is at the company's own expense. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of capability statements in connection with the market survey. Any information provided is voluntary.
