- Description
- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency (FAR 6.302-5); specifically, Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J&A is not required for this award. a. Demolition 1. Contractor shall remove existing electrical/com and all associated conduit as indicated on drawings. 2. Contractor shall remove existing accordion wall pocket framing as indicated on drawings. 3. Contractor shall remove existing accordion wall, track head, electrical system, and boxed out framing as indicated on drawings. 4. Contractor shall remove existing curtains and curtain rods and salvage for relocation as indicated on drawings. 5. Contractor shall remove existing wood trim from southernmost accordion pocket framing as indicated on drawings. 6. Contractor shall prep and level floor as required for new flooring in northern pocket framing location as indicated on drawings. 7. Contractor shall remove existing thermostats and salvage for relocation as indicate on drawings. 8. Contractor shall remove existing speaker and salvage for relocation as indicated on drawings. 9. Contractor shall remove existing ceiling grid and tiles. Salvage tiles for reuse as indicated on drawings. 10. Contractor shall remove electrical duplexes in ceiling tiles and salvage for relocation as indicated on drawings. 11. Contractor shall remove monitor wires b. Construction 1. Contractor shall provide and install new walls as indicated on drawing. 2. Contractor shall provide and install new rubber wall base as indicated on drawings. 3. Contractor shall provide and install new folding partition wall and assembly as indicated on drawings. 4. Contractor shall install salvaged thermostats, speaker, and electrical as indicated on drawings. 5. Contractor shall install new ceiling grid and tiles as indicated on drawing. 6. Contractor shall install salvaged curtain and curtain rod as indicated on drawings. 7. Contractor shall install new trim boxed around partition head as indicated on drawings. 8. Contractor shall install adjusted new ceiling grid and tiles as indicated on drawings. 9. Contractor shall provide and install existing power in new wire mold to electrical duplex an indicated on drawings. 10. Contractor shall install government provided ceiling tiles as indicated on drawings. 11. Contractor shall reinstall existing electrical duplexes on wall behind existing monitor as indicated on drawings
