- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract (base period plus 4 option years) for readjustment counseling services. The Contractor shall provide readjustment counseling services to eligible veterans located within Moffat County Colorado. These services will be provided for the Readjustment Counseling Services Vet Center located in Grand Junction, Colorado. Contractor/ Service provider shall be physically located in Craig, Colorado and available to provide counseling Monday through Friday as needed. The estimated sessions for the base period from date of award to September 30, 2015 are 125 individual counseling, 125 group counseling and 30 family counseling. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. The contractor will only be paid for services provided. Counseling shall be provided at contractor's facility. The counseling may include traditional psychotherapeutic modalities, but the purpose of psychotherapy (or any modality) must be, as a primary task, to address readjustment difficulties derived from military duties and the homecoming experience. Readjustment counseling, for purposes of this contract, is counseling provided by licensed Colorado mental health providers; clinical social workers, psychologist, or other qualified counselors that will provide services specifically directed at social, psychological, or behavioral difficulties explicitly related to the post-war readjustment to civilian life. Such difficulties may interfere with a veteran's job performance, education pursuits, family and other interpersonal relations, or overall ability to cope with daily life. This acquisition has been designated as a full and open competition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 621330, size standard is $7.5M. The solicitation for these services will be issued on or about November 18, 2014. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov.
