Description

This announcement is for information only. This is NOT a request for pricing. The VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS), Buffalo NY intends to award a contract under NAICS Code 541330, Engineering Services, with a NAICS Code 541330 of $15 Million for a land survey in Batavia, NY. The awardee will be required to survey the VAWNYHS Batavia campus for all plumbing/water lines, storm, sanitary, gas, steam, electrical, cabling, phone, data lines, etc. This procurement is a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The VAWNYHS will use the short selection process defined in FAR 36.602(a) and will select among SDVOSB firms based on evaluation of technical documentation (330's) already available in VISN 2 for this NAICS code. SDVOSB firms having a working office within a 300 mile radius of the VAWNYHS, 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020 may submit an SF 330 for consideration. SF 330's must be received at the following address no later than 4:30PM, November 28, 2014: VAWNYHS, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215 Attn: Rosanne J. Raczkowski (90NCO). Evaluation factors for this procurement are listed in order of importance (no. 1 being most important) and are as follows: 1. Specialized experience and technical competence of the firm (including a joint venture or association) with the type of service required. 2.Specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project and record of working together as a team. 3.Professional capacity of the firm in the designated geographic area of the project to perform work (including any specialized services) within the time limitations. 4.Past record of performance on contracts with the Department of Veterans Affairs. 5.Geographic location and facilities of the working office(s) which would provide the professional services and familiarity with the area in which the project is located. 6.Inclusion of small business consultant(s), and/or minority-owned consultant(s), and/or women-owned consultant(s), and/or veteran-owned consultant(s), and/or service disabled veteran-owned consultant(s), and/or HUBZone-owned consultant(s).
